There will be two stages of deliverables as outlined below. For detailed submission delivery information, see Registration and Rules.

Boards

First stage deliverables (anonymous)

1:2000 with 1:1000 partial details

Labeling:

The order of the drawing panels should be numbered on the title block of each panel. Competitors should indicate their Competition User Name number only (received at registration) in the title block of each panel. User Name number should be 2cm in height, in the upper right corner of panel. Competitors who indicate their firm or team name on any of the three panels will be disqualified.

 

Second stage deliverables (anonymous)

1:2000 with 1:1000 full details
Model: 1:2500

Labeling:

The order of the drawing panels should be numbered on the title block of each panel. Competitors should indicate their Competition User Name number only (received at registration) in the title block of each panel. User Name number should be 2cm in height, in the upper right corner of panel. Competitors who indicate their firm or team name on any of the five panels will be disqualified.

Design Description

Each stage, Competitors shall submit narrative description of their design proposals. This report should include the entrants registration number in bold typeface in the upper right corner of the document and be attached in a sealed envelope on the back of the submission boards. The narrative text has no length requirement and must include clear descriptions about the overall design vision, detailed description of design intent and elements, contribution to the Thu Thiem public space system, contribution to Ho Chi Minh City, spatial and programmatic elements, response to local climate, sustainability strategies, and technical requirements.

All of the above work to be provided in CD Rom format.

 

Submission Date and Address

Stage 1 submissions are due at 5pm (Ho Chi Minh City time) on May 19, 2008, delivered in person or by mail to the following address:
